Interpol to Open for U2

Interpol will be opening for U2 on six dates of their 2010 US Tour this summer according to what I assume was a U2 announcement yanked from an article at Consequence of Sound. See tour dates below…
Interpol at Electric Lady Studios
Just a quick update to let everyone know that we’re still on track to be getting a new Interpol album – and soon! New York City audio blog Sonic Scoop has reported in a brief mention that Interpol is currently in Studio A of Electric Lady Studios here in NYC working on their 4th album.
