Personally I’m somewhere between liking and loving the album, and will most likely post my own in depth review in the near future. However, for now I’d love to get your opinion.

“Carlos really doesn’t like playing the bass guitar,” Fogarino said. “How integral is the bass to Interpol? I mean, it’s huge. It’s a total harmonic component. It’s hook-laden. But he really, really didn’t like the bass. It’s not his instrument of choice, and it definitely wasn’t his first instrument.”

Anthem Magazine has posted a short article on the making of Interpol’s new music video for the song Barricade off their upcoming fourth album. Details on the treatment were sparse, but it apparently took place in a deserted field in Brooklyn. What’s more, the article comes with a gallery of pictures to confirm it.
